White Bumps On Hip
I have a small white bump just above my hip bone. It had appeared to wall it's self off and now has become irritated and painful. Skin or regular dr?
Skin doctor: Seems to be a ruptured cyst, a dermatologist can drain or excise.
Get it checked: It's difficult to say what your problem could be without visualization of the lesion. It's best to follow up with a provider so they can evaluate your condition and determine it's seriousness or lack there of. Possibilities could be an abscess, a cyst, or a viral infection. All the best!
Big soft bump: Is usually a fatty rumor, or lipoma.
I have small bumps on my hip. Last night there were about 20 of them on one him and tonight there are four in a row on the other hip. They kind of itch?
See a doctor: Most likely nothing to worry about. They could be cysts, from dry skin, lipomas. Benign, not dangerous. Concerned about them, specially if they increased in size, or causing pain, see a doctor for evaluation. Good luck. Thank you for using health tap.
Everytime I stand afew hours constantly my lower right back starts to hurt a good amount when I feel my back ifeel asmall bump located behind my R hip?
Painful bumps: A new painful bump in the tissue could be an abscess or boil (furuncle) if it is hot to the touch, or you have a fever you should get checked. However, you don't say how long you have had it, how big it is, the color, whether you injured yourself (ran into something) etc. So it is hard to give any decent information. Check with your doc or try Healthtap Prime & you can talk to a doc, & add pic.
Any number of causes: Red itchy bumps can be caused by rubbing, dry skin, chemicals or other irritants, ringworm, folliculitis, or even from systemic diseases. If they do not resolve with gentle cleansing, moisturizing lotion, application of topical antibiotic and/ or antifungal cream, or topical steroid cream within a couple of weeks, you should have them evaluated by your doctor.
Dermatological: Conditions are hard to diagnose online. It is important to visually inspect the lesion. It can be any number of things...I will toss out bedbugs as a possibility as I recently saw a patient with them in that location. But, it is just a possibility amongst many.
Need more info: It's hard to diagnose skin problems without seeing them. Could be anything from allergy to insect bites. Please get to see your family physician ASAP before it gets worse.

Autonomic Issue?: People that have history of disability or spinal cord injury and do not ambulate have a potential to have an autonomic dysfunction which causes the blood pressure to rise, heart rate to increase, cause goosebumps/hair to raise etc. Sometimes it is related to infection, bowel impaction, stress, etc. You may want your doctor to evaluate your vital signs and consider medications to help.
