Folliculitis.: This is an example of folliculitis. There are a couple of ways to treat this--topicals such as topical antibiotics or topical corticosteroids. However, a more definitive treatment for this pesky condition would be to have laser hair removal. Also, Sitz baths (soaking perineum in some warm water with a little Epsom salt in a shallow pan) for about 5 minutes daily as needed can be helpful. Obviously, refrain from shaving for a few days.
