See derm: It could be a mucocyst or it could be a early skin cancer. The important thing is to be seen and if it is not a cyst or small inclusion cyst then a biopsy should be done to rule out an early skin cancer. Lots of things!: Bumps can be due to numerous things, however on the upper lip it could be a herpes lesion/cold sore, a nevus/mole, a wart, or even a pimple.
