Dr. Shady Macaron answered:

What if all symptoms lead to appendicitis but the white blood cell count isn't elevated, but all other symptoms are there?

.

Blood
Appendicitis by definition is an active infection/ inflammation which showed be associated with elevated WBC. In the situation of normal WBC this might be a gynecology related problem, gastroenteritis, constipation or in rare situations an EARLY appendicitis. Since you have all the symptoms of appendicitis, I urge you to be evaluated by your PCP or at the ED. A CT scan might be required. Good Luck

Symptoms are high blood pressure, rapid heart rate, nausea, vomiting, right side abdominal pain, elevated liver enzymes, blood in urine, weight loss?

Rapid heart rate

High_blood_pressure
You need to get to an emergency room for an evaluation for all of your seriious complaints. Your nausea and vomiting could be related to the cause of your elevated liver enzymes. You rapid heart rate may be symptom of dehydration and given the list of complaints you have, some of which are serious, you need to head for the nearest ER as soon as possible to prevent a serious event from developing.

Dr. Alan Feldman answered:

Cause of elevated wbc in blood in diabetic? Protein in urine, no fever and no other symptoms.

Many possibilities

Urine
An elevated WBC is typically seen when you have an infection. It is not directly related to having diabetes, but diabetics are more prone to getting infections, such as urinary infections. High protein in the urine can be from a urine infection, but can also be a sign of diabetes affecting the kidneys and causing leakage of protein. This would need treatment. You should see your doctor about

There are 2 kinds of liver enzyme abnormalities--that signal disease of the liver cells or of the bile ducts. Abnormal liver tests may reflect fatty liver, too much alcohol, toxic exposure, occupational exposures, lot's of viral infections, metabolic problems, familial liver diseases, as well as problems with gallbladder, bile ducts, and pancreas. Which liver tests proved abnormal for you?

Dr. Ed Friedlander answered:

Is high white blood cell count symptoms of kidney infection?

Often

Antibiotic
The absolute neutrophil count often goes up when there's a bacterial kidney infection. These are not to be taken lightly -- before antibiotics, they were major killers especially of young women.

Dr. Shaym Puppala answered:

What symptoms are often associated with a high white blood cell count?

Depends on reason

Blood
High white blood cell (wbc) count is the body's response to physical stress or infection. Symptoms (eg fever) generally are from the underlying cause of high wbc rather than from the high wbc itself. Reasons for elevated wbc can include infection, blood/bone marrow disorder, cancer, and treatment with steroids like prednisone. Sometimes, a wbc may be somewhat high with no clear reason or symptom

Dr. Holly Maes answered:

10 month old had 2 UTI's ,had symptoms for #3 in less 2 months.. On meds. Culture neg, waiting to do tests could teething cause high white blood cells?

No

Blood
Teething does not cause an elevation of your white blood cell count. An elevated WBC count a this age is almost always due to an infection somewhere, and with a history of UTI's already I would be looking in this area. It could be a kidney abcess, blood infection, or infection totally somewhere else in the body. There are other more rare causes of elevated WBC's, but teething is not one of them.
