How often do 3 months babies poop thought a day ?

How often do 3 months babies poop thought a day ?

Depends on situation: If baby is breast fed they may stool a little smear every feeding or one big crib full once a week. Breast milk is so well digested that it may not leave much behind for poo. My babies fat globules in her poop what is the cause?

Something in pooh: If the baby is growing and thriving there is nothing to worry about. If not these could represent poor absorption of fat and require a visit to your pediatrician. Is it mandatiry for all hospitals to test babies first poop?

Not necessarily: Unless there is reason to test it it will go in the trash. A past history of drug abuse by a mother, protective service surveillance, or babies with withdrawal symptoms would all prompt such a study. Hospitals do make sure babies have had their first poop before going home. ...Read more

1 month old, formula feed infant has dark green poop that smells like skunk (sometimes stringy looking)...baby is gassy as well. Is this normal?

If that is the case, there are numerous things that could be of help, such as different formulas. That decision can be best made with your child's doctor who will know what formula your child is and/or has been on. Good luck. ...Read more
