See your doctor: Skin grafts take many weeks to fully heal. If you have questions about yours i would recommend seeing your surgeon. In the meantime keep it lubricated with something like vaseline. ...Read more

No: A skin graft is placed on the wound to close it. It will never look exactly like the healthy skin around it. If the wound was big enough to warrant a graft for closure it will most likely heal worse if allowed to heal on its own. ...Read more

I am a big proponent of scar massage for the improvement of all scars, including those resulting from skin grafting. What you put on your hand before you do the massage (cocoa butter, vitamin e, mederma) is not as important as vigorous massage, twice a day. Further surgery can also help. ...Read more
