Internal hemorrhoids are swollen and make the passing of the stool difficult need to strain hard and have to use enemas to have a bm. The stool is flat but soft, i take a stool softener every evening.
I know that constipation could lead to hemorrhoids. But i've heard that laxatives could cause hemorrhoids too. Any thoughts?
Dr dx hemorrhoids today and recommended stool softener + mild laxative for 60 days. What should I look out for which would warrant another visit or should I just assume meds will work?
