Depends on patient: Mobic (meloxicam) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agent (nsiad). Aleve (naproxen) is also an nsaid. Tylenol is not an anti-inflammatory medicine. I have been prescribed mobic 7.5 mg x 2 daily. I am awaiting test results due to muscular atrophy . Can i take motrin 800 or tylenol also?
NSAID: I would not recommend adding another non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) as these both have a slight risk if causing a gastrointestinal hemorrhage or kidney damage (w possible synergy). Tylenol is a type of analgesic that does not work via cox inhibition and is cleared by the liver.
