Which Herbal Medicine Could I Take To Help With Osteoarthritis
Minor osteoarthritis has required OTC & prescription nsaids approx. 6 months. Your thoughts on switching to herbal tumeric?Have seen great reviews.
Listen to your body: Turmeric is a good especially combined with olive oil and black pepper . It is generally safe. Eating an anti-inflammatory diet is also very helpful. See the cancer fighting kitchen by rebecca katz for excellent ideas for any inflammatory condition not just cancer. Cod liver oil with a & d can be helpful for joints as well. Healthy food, a good night sleep, and movement improves everything.
Likely not: Herbal remedies are not supervised by the fda or regulated as normal pharmaceuticals. Many makers of such herbal remedies make claims as advertisement, but fine print often shows that the claims have not been shown to be effective by any governmental agency. Beware. Dizziness can have many causes, many benign, but some not so, and a visit to an ENT is advised.See 1 more doctor answer
That depends on..: the skin condition, the medicinal herb and how it is being used.
Poorly studied: There are very few unbiased studies looking at herbal therapies for allergies. A review article on this subject felt that the use of butterbur may be equivalent to antihistamines. There are also rare studies using other herbal products, including aller-7, tinospora cordifolia, perilla frutescens, and several chinese herbal medicines that showed some effect. Side effects are not well understood.See 1 more doctor answer
What can I take to overcome fatigue?....Is there some herbal medicine w/o side effects?
I am taking 200 mg sertraline, amlodipine & atenolol.
Look for cause: One needs to look for what's causing fatigue before looking for herbal or non herbal treaent, as it could be side effect of your medications, both amlodipine and Propranolol are known to do it. On the other hand anxiety or depression not treated fully can cause fatigue too.See 1 more doctor answer
Natural medicines, like herbal pills, that help keep an erection? No trouble getting one, keeping one is problem. Dont want to take viagra/cialis etc.
Here is...: What i would said may not be what you like to here. But as a professional, i still state: it's rare to have ed as described in someone of 21; in fact, overindulgence and obsession in sex have bothered many youngsters' life. Remember: sex is a process of very heavy mental and physical drainage and requires a period of resting for replenishing the energy and ability. So, try sex less often and...See 1 more doctor answer
Herbal medicine: nuihuang jiedu pian herbal medicine - the boxes have been yellow or yellow and white for the products that I have seen.
I don't know much about herbal medicine but don't have good insurance. Are there any plant treatments for meckel’s diverticulum?
No: Meckel's diverticulum is a physical pouch, so medicine doesn't help it. But they can be associated with bleeding. And if patients have mild bleeding, we may use iron to help build back up their hemoglobin stores. Iron can be found in over the counter pills or many foods; beans would be a good non-meat source.
Pelargonium sidoides: The herb Pelargonium sidoides, the root of a geranium native to South africa, is the best-proven treatment for colds, sinus infections & sinusitis. It's the first thing I (& my family) take when getting sick & has helped hundreds of my patients. It is widely available in a product called umcka, sold at health food stores & many pharmacies. See http://naturalmedicinejournal.Net/pdf/nmj_dec09_bp.Pdf
NONE: In my > 35 years of practice i've heard of all manner of herbal and natural treatments for dm.None work. Please see a dr and get treated properly to live longer.
Pelargonium sidoides: By far my favorite herbal medicine for bronchitis is pelargonium sidoides, a type of geranium from south africa proven more effective than antibiotics for bronchitis in numerous research studies. See http://naturalmedicinejournal.Net/pdf/nmj_dec09_bp.Pdf for details. If this was a prescription drug it would be widely known and prescribed by doctors, but since it is a herb most docs don't know it.
Not likely: You first need to know the cause. Herbal supplements are neither fda approved nor are they recommended to treat any disease. Costochondritis is an inflammatory problem that needs more medical assessment. It may be you can manage it with over the counter anti-inflammatories, but probably not herbs.See 1 more doctor answer
