Whey Protein And The Thyroid
I was diagnosed hyperthyroid and am taking carbimzole. I workout regularly and take whey protein. Would that in anyways affect the thyroid function?
I'm taking 25mg of synthroid. I take it at night around 10pm every night. I would like to start taking whey protein to build muscle. Would it interfere with my thyroid medicine if I take it at night and take the whey protein in the morning around 7am?
Lately, i was found with minor high level of thyroid.I workout and i drink whey protein shakes..So is it safe to take whey in thyroid disorder?

Most likely: Whey protein is safe for 17 y, assuming that person has no health problems. Rarely is a 17 y male not skeletally and anatomically mature. Therefore, it is most likely safe to take creatine as well. However, this is not a "magic bullet." if you take these products and don't workout, you will just gain unwanted weight. No problem: I see no problem with this protein supplement. Your body will process & use the products of your diet & assemble milk for baby based on babies needs, not necessarily what you eat. You will not necessarily make your milk into super milk by doing the supplement, but i see no harm to baby from its use. ...Read more
