Where is the right place to put cold towel on the child in order to reduce the fever ?

Where is the right place to put cold towel on the child in order to reduce the fever ?

If using a bath at all (i never recommend it- too messy), the water should never be more than 15 f degrees cooler than the kid. ...Read more

What is a safe way to clean floors in the house so that the baby can crawl on them?

What is a safe way to clean floors in the house so that the baby can crawl on them?

Natural cleaners: Virtually all commercial cleaners contain chemicals that are toxic. Vinegar (white, distilled), diluted 1:1 with water, makes a great general purpose cleaner. It cuts soap scum, removes mildew. Note that it can also dissolve tile grout or discolor some materials, so try it out first on an inconspicuous area. Search "better living through less chemistry" for more. ...Read more

Someone applied spackle to seal a hole in the ground in my bathroom if i breathe in the fumes is it toxic?

No: It just isn't. Please forgive my frankness. Do yourself a favor and stop readnig internet scare stories. People make this stuff up, based sometimes on junk-science work (anything can damage cells in a petri dish), pretending to be your friends to sell you stuff you don't need. If "spackle", which has been around since I was a kid, were dangerous, some research piranha would have proved it. ...Read more

Can leaving a pan with food in to soak cause mold to grow in the pan if left out all day?

Can leaving a pan with food in to soak cause mold to grow in the pan if left out all day?

It starts in 24-48: A general rule of thumb is that you should wash the dishes and wipe/clean the sink at least once a day if you wish to prevent mold growing on your used bowls and plates. When dishes are stacked on each other they aren't able to dry out which promotes mold growth. Rinsing dishes right after helps prevent. Keep surfaces free of organic material/food which mold requires to grow. Stay well:) ...Read more
