Can you be listed on an organ registry of people who have similar diseases to you so you can get organs quicker?
Not really but.....: The one exception i can think of is the case for kidney transplant in recipients that have hepatitis c. We don't give deceased donor kidneys from patients with exposure to hepatitis c to recipients that have never been exposed. The transmission rate approaches 100%. But for those recipients who have had hepatitis c, they can get a kidney quicker if they will agree to accept a hepatitis c organ. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Do you know what the shelf life of domperidone is? I have a bottle from Jan 2013 but it has no expiry date listed
From production: It is reported this medication has a shelf life of 4 years. But that's starting from when it was initially produced. It's unclear based on what you describe about when your particular bottle would "expire". If you are concerned contact the pharmacy where it was purchased or just throw it away and renew your prescription with your doctor. ...Read more
Why am i having major reactions to medications that are either 'rare' or not listed? The doctors don't believe me. I have never used anything illegal.
Rx medications: Are researched and side effects (se) documented before before being prescribed by a dr. Often, medication se are recognized after public. Researchers look for these and report it (postmarketing). So a dr has a good idea of the anticipated se. Idiosyncratic and allergic reaction to multiple medications is rare, but can be seen. Pft results for all 4 of the items listed under dlco were all over 100% of predicted and would like to know if that is good or bad and what it means.?
See below: The only numbers that really matter are the FEV1, FVC, FEV1/FVC ratio, TLC, RV and DLCO. The other numbers you talking about under DLCO, I wouldn't worry about. The DLCO should be between 80-120% of your normal. If it's over 120%, that could indicate diffuse alveolar hemorrhage, but I've never seen anyone with this problem that was able to have PFT's done. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
