Should be OK: Usually we check the cuff (vaginal closure) at the 6 wk check to make sure it healed well & to check for granulation tissue. This is where tissue gets everted and can bleed easily with intercourse. If none was seen & healing was normal, I wouldn't worry about it unless you get increased bleeding or watery discharge. It depends.: It's important for the surgeon to look to make sure the sutures are still intact. Did they take your ovaries too? If so you may have vaginal dryness and pain.
