Hi Does hiv rashes appears after 5 months and they appear frequently or they appear one after one i am talking after 5 months of hiv doubts?

Hi Does hiv rashes appears after 5 months and they appear frequently or they appear one after one i am talking after 5 months of hiv doubts?

Listen buddy: At five months after a risky contact, your ordinary lab screen is almost certain to be positive, and a nucleus acid based text is certain to be positive. Stop doing this to yourself, man. If your labs are clear, give thanks for good health, love safely, and get on with your life. Get the rash diagnosed by a competent physician; this isn't how HIV announces itself anyway. ...Read more

I was wondering are HIV rashes constant or do they come and go?

I was wondering are HIV rashes constant or do they come and go?

Depends on the rash: The rash associated with acute HIV (red flat rash over trunk ; sometimes face) occurs in 50% and is very transient. Kaposi sarcoma lesions tend to stick around a long time with or without treatment. Eosinophilic (allergic) dermatitis assoc w/hiv tends to stick around w/o therapy ; fungal infections do the same. There are some specific rashes to late stage HIV which also stick around a long time. ...Read more
