Where Do Flies Come From
Went to bathroom in public toliet with flies or nats in stall, can they cause infection if come in contact with vaginal/anal area?
Casual contact- no: When toileting, the casual contact of a fly on the vaginal anal area won't cause an infection since these areas already contain a high concentration of normal human bacteria (flora) that will overwhelm whatever little disease-causing bacteria the fly deposits from their feet. Of course, all bets are off if you forget to wash your hands after toileting- so wash you hands!
Stay away from them: It sounds silly, but stay away from where they are. If you must go there, wear appropriate clothing (long sleeves and pants, and use insect repellant on your skin and your clothing. Wash your clothes well afterward.
Insect allergy: This just happens and there is no good predictor for it, it is more common in people who already have environmental allergies.
"can i get sick or catch a disease if 2 flies landed on food exposed for hours cooked potatoes and carrots 40 year old female?
Are house flies really dirty? There is one in my home and it is landing everywhere every surface getting everything dirty? Will fly spread germs?
Little or no risk: House flies are pretty much unavoidable; there will always be some in and around almost any house, offices, stores, etc. In theory, they can carry disease germs, but it's rare. In your home, you are no more at risk from flies than you are from simply touching doorknobs, table tops, etc. Use common sense hygiene, discard older foods, and keep a reasonably clean environment. Then no worries.
I'm very clean! i've had this problem with gnats and flies always around my head everywhere i go, and everyone looks at me weirdly what can this be ?
Morgelions Disease: I believe that whatever morgellons is, it carries either phermones that attract bugs, or possibly the fungus component of morgellons is attracting bugs to you, as if you are a rotting log. Morgellons organism is man made, and likely confusing insects. I have been treated for one year on doxycylene which i believe sterilizes the organism from reproducing in the body, but it is a long haul.

That is possible.: Consider use of sticky fly tape - it is very effective.
No: Dumbell flies on the floor will hurt your should more. Get a low bench and a spotter.
Insect bites : Insect bites are more common during the spring and summer months. When possible, identifying the general type of insect (e.g. Ticks) can provide valuable clue in making a diagnosis in setting of symptoms. Geography is also very important. Skin rash, fever and swollen nodes are some symptoms after an insect bite that should be evaluated by a doctor right away.

Hi there, I got bitten quite a bit in the country over the weekend(mosquitos only, however, horse flies were around a lot, though I'm told I would know if one got me). Most seem perfectly normal, albeit ridiculously itchy & annoying...but 2 if the bites a
Question incomplete: I think you were saying that "2 of the bites are...." but your submission was cut off when you reached the limit. If you want an answer to your question, I suggest you reword it. Simply leave out "though I'm told I would know if one got me" and the rest of your question should come through.See 1 more doctor answer
No longer in use: Some of the old techniques of chromosomal banding were done on fruit flies because of their distinctive biology. This laid the foundation for science that is now almost entirely based on cell cultures and recombinant DNA work. We can be thankful for the animals that helped us, even the humble insects.See 1 more doctor answer
I got bitten by sand flies in cambodia, have bites all over by body, normal for them to darken? Do i need to get checked for disease? Will it at scar?
Get checked: First of all, the bites will fade and disappear. Secondly, sand flies transmit a group of parasites called leishmania. There are different species in different parts of the world. If you might be infected, tests are available and the problem is readily treated. Find an infectious disease specialist and ask if and when you should be seen and tested.
I had a bad reaction to being bitten by a lot of black flies while in japan. I ended up vomiting and fainting. Would this be due to so many bites or a?
Allergy: In most likelihood, you had allergy to the bites and it caused release of histamine causing vasodilatation or opening up of the blood vessels, decrease blood pressure, dizziness and fainting and vomiting. That is past so it would be difficult to find out now but your allergy can intensify on next exposure.
Vitreous separation: Most likely this is a symptom of vitreous separation. It may be associated with flashes of light in the peripheral vision. Although usually not dangerous, a vitreous separation can occasionally lead to retinal tears and even less frequently to retinal detachment. If this happens, it is prudent to be examined by an eyemd, especially if you are at high risk, such as being highly nearsighted.
I am experiencing constant fruit flies around my face and head. I am very clean, wash my hair regularly so I have no idea why this is happening.
Fruit flies: What do you do ( do you make/work with wine?) or use raspberry ketone? These can attract fruit flies, as does other fermented odors. Would also check for diabetes f/u /w /doc
