Possible tumor: Bilaterality of nodal disease in the groin is inflammatory or neoplastic. How large are the nodes and how firm?. Inflammation is tender. Tumor not tender. Area around anus should be checked for perianal lesion . If lesion is considered suspicious , the node must be removed for dx rather than needle bx which can be misinterpreted. ...Read more

Yes.: But the degree of concern is uncertain until one knows why the lymph nodes are enlarged. Could be any one of a number of different things. I would be concerned enough to continue follow up with your doc until you have an answer.
