Strain during sleep.: General principle: if some ailment occurs after an activity (temporal relationship), then it may very well be-not necessarily-related to that activity. My guess is there was some movement during sleep which caused the problem; perhaps you slept for too long a time in a position that pit undue pressure on that hand. It's unusual to have: The tip of a finger to have a cold sensation without affecting the other fingers or hand.
