May change : The position , may change prior to delivery with no external efforts, or the OB may set up to try a "version" maneuver around the due date to convert baby to head down. Bad idea : It is important to deliver at the hospital where your doctor works. If you don't like that that hospital then choose a different doctor. You put yourself at risk if you just show up randomly at a hospital who has no information about you. You also put the doctor at risk who will be required to care for you without knowing you and without having history or prenatal records. Please do not do this. ...Read more

Fall: You did not say if the baby was hurt at all. Crying after an episode like this may be just from the sudden movement. If the baby is acting normal has no evidence of injury , did not hit its head, is moving all it's extremities, then the chances of anything significant is small.
