When Treated For Hydrocele Do You Get Put To Sleep
Should I go into the mental hospital today to get my psychosis treated? What do I have to do to get in? How long will it take to get in? Some tips?
In most states: one way is going to the emergency room will suffice. While there, a mental health worker will take down your information, find a psychiatric hospital that's suitable for your needs and have you transported (some of the time, depends on the situation). All you do is show up and tell what's wrong. The ER can take hours or minutes of waiting; maybe bring a book to read. You can also see your MD. ...Read more
Second opinion: Children don't usually sprain thie ankles. A sprain is a ligament injury and in kids the ligaments generally are stronger than their growth plates thus the injury usually follows the path of least resistance and you have a growth plate fracture rather than a sprain. Maybe get another opinion if you think your child has a sprain. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Circumstances: Usually c/sections are performed under regional analgesia, which is epidural or spinal analgesia. If there were extraordinary circumstances that required intubation during a c/section, intubation during a subsequent c/section will only be required, if circumstances are the same (for example, problems with the spine that preclude regional analgesia). ...Read more

I'm in high school.I need to get to bet by 8:00 pm to get 9hours of sleep.I find myself stating up until 11 pm. What can I do to get to bed on time ?
Good sleep hygiene: Many of us in the medical profession are chronic offenders of that, so you aren't alone. :) what we advise is good "sleep hygiene, " meaning not watching tv right before bed, not exercising within a couple hours, only using the bedroom for sleep and not for tv/computer/etc., not eating right before sleep, avoiding caffeine, etc. Sometimes medications can help as a last resort. Best of luck! ...Read more
Contact Dermatitis: U need to know what is causing the contact dermatitis in order to avoid it. Best way is through patch testing with an allergist or a dermatologist. Classic causes are nickel in cheap jewelry. Another classic example is the rash procured by poison ivy. What can I do to help me get to sleep at night? Trouble getting to sleep i will be sleeping on the chair, but when i go to bed be wide awake.
Lots : Lots of people have problems getting to sleep, staying asleep, or both. In many cases, poor sleep is caused by bad sleep habits. The good news is that bad sleep habits can be fixed by good sleep hygiene. The even better news is that good sleep hygiene doesn't cost much, and unlike some pills, won't leave people feeling groggy in the morning. Here are some basic sleep hygiene tips: it is best to wake up at about the same time, and to go to sleep at about the same time, 7 days a week. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and spicy foods in the hours before bedtime. Have a consistent, relaxing bedtime routine. A warm bath, a good book, listening to relaxing music, stretching exercises, or watching a low-key television show are good options before bedtime. Use the bed and bedroom for sleep, not for studying, television, telephone, hobbies, or surfing the internet. Make the bedroom comfortable, quiet, and dark. In the morning, get exposure to bright light. The morning is also a good time to get physical exercise, which boosts energy during the day. Avoid napping. Many medications can interfere with sleep or can make people drowsy during the day. A talk with a doctor can sort these problems out. Signs of a severe sleeping problem include falling asleep at work, at school, during conversations, during meals, or while driving. People with severe sleeping problems need to see their doctor right away. Even people with mild sleeping problems can be drowsy during the day. Never drive when drowsy or sleepy, and if sleepiness occurs while driving, pull over and take a nap. ...Read more

Forgot to take birth control this AM and won't be able to until 4pm. Do I need to take it ASAP when I get home or what? Def don't want to get pregnant
Take ASAP: It depends on what type of birth control pill you are taking, but in most cases, taking it when you get home should be fine. If you forget to do that, then taking 2 the next day is okay as well. If you are taking a Progestin-only pill, such as Micronor, (norethindrone) then you definitely need to take ASAP. If taking a combined birth control pill (that contains estrogen), then taking ASAP or 2 tomorrow is fine. ...Read more

Discuss w/ Doctor: Before you set up thje schedule for the procedure (or others in your future), discuss all your issues w/ the doctor involved. Unless/until you can reach a plan, don't move ahead - especially if it is an elective procedure. I expect they'll have a plan for your case. Best wishes! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
