I have very painful legs, hot thighs, sometimes cold feet & calves. Burning pain, can't keep legs still. Prevents sleep. Please can you advise?
I am having a burning pain on my lower back right side. Also behind my right knee to my heel hurts, plus my right leg jumps uncontrollably and painful. Sometimes it hurts to walk and I am unable to get comfortable nor sleep. What could this be?
Likely nerve problem: Your skin has tons of nerve endings. When they get hurt, your nerves may get very inflamed causing the burning sensation. Ice and cool rag may make it feel cooler, but as long as the nerve is agitated and inflamed, it will continue to feel as if it is burning. It is hard to say when it will stop since nerves may take awhile to heal or improve if it is not permanently damaged. ...Read more

For sciatica, can an epidural injection reduce the burning sensation in my leg? Can it reduce weakness?
Epidural can help.: An epidural steroid injection would be expected to relieve, at least temporarily, the burning sensation and the weakness. These symptoms, especially the latter, will most likely return sooner than later after even a successful injection. The weakness suggests potentially more of a problem and you need an MRI of the spine if the weakess has been present for very long. I would see your physician. ...Read more

Experimenting edema on legs and burning sensation all over my body. Uric acid level is 7.1. How to reduce the symptoms? I have CKD.
