My infant is five months has a dry cough for a week and has a runny stuffy nose no fever should I take him to doctor is it a cold?

Cough: it is always hard to know when to take your baby to the doctor. If he is eating, drinking, pooping, peeing and acting otherwise well and having no fever then I would say no. If he has any trouble breathing, the cough becomes worse, he gets a fever, he becomes lethargic, dehydrated or you are just too worried then get him seen. Fever in skin infect: If the boil you saw is a bacterial infection on the skin and that is causing her fever then she should be see right away. When skin infections cause fevers it can be a sign of spreading . I wouldn't wait. Maybe the fever is from something else but it would be good to have a physician evaluate her. ...Read more
