I'm 26 weeks pregnant and I have been having cramping that feels like period cramps! Is this bad?

Please call OB ASAP: If you cannot reach your OB provider, go to the nearest labor and delivery for evaluation. This might be pain from any pelvic or abdominal structures like bowel or bladder that needs treatment. It also could be cramping of the uterus placing you are at risk for preterm delivery. So do not delay, call your OB provider and prepare to go quickly to labor and delivery for examination and monitoring.

How deadly is rubella IgM virus for a 26 weeks pregnancy?

How deadly is rubella IgM virus for a 26 weeks pregnancy?

Confusing question: There is no Rubella IGM Virus that I know of. There is a common screening test for IGM antibody created after a rubella infection. If you have high IGM levels indicating a recent rubella infection, it is worrisome. Rubella during pregnancy can lead to injury to the eyes, ears and other organs. Babies can be born deaf, blind and with other defects.

Can contractions happen without belly tightening? I'm 26 weeks pregnant and yesterday felt kinda of cramps in my left side, but it's gone. Normal?

Contractions.: It is not unusual to have contractions throughout pregnancy, but as long as they are not regular, they are usually not a problem. If you are dehydrated, you can have contractions. They usually don't do anything, but they can be uncomfortable. If you are having contractions or discomfort, you should first assume you are dehydrated. Lay down and drink a lot of water. If they don't stop, call your OB

Prefer left side: Sleeping on your left side is preferable as it gets the pregnant uterus off of the inferior vena cava and aorta. When either is compressed there is less blood return to your heart and consequently your fetus.

26 weeks pregnant and having pain below my belly, feels like something is torn? It hurts so bad when im laying down and I go to roll over on my side.

See your Ob!: Appendicitis, torn adhesions from prior pid or c-section, muscle spasm, round ligament pain are all possible, as is urinary tract infection with or without stones. See your obstetrician as soon as possible to get a thorough clinical evaluation and help. I hope it is nothing serious and you recover promptly and fully.

Physical therapy: I would probably recommend seeing a physical therapist for some simple stretches. Also lying down in the fetal position may be helpful as well.

Hi I'm 38 weeks and 3days pregnant to be exact, through out my 2nd and 3rd trimester I've had bad nausea this week is really bad, why?

Reflux: The further along you in your pregnancy the higher likelihood of reflux which can lead to nausea. As the baby grows, it pushes on the diaphragm which can reduce the stomach size and can the symptoms you describe. Eat smaller meals more frequently to alleviate some of your symptoms. Try Tums (calcium carbonate) as well. Feel better.

I am suffering from anxiety (sometimes bad) and seeing a therapist for it, but wondered what harm it could have on the baby (i am 26 weeks pregnant).?

Anxiety & pregnancy: During this time of intense growth and neuronal migration & connections, your baby's brain is vulnerable to many things such as toxins, infections, illicit drugs, & medications. High maternal anxiety can also affect fetal brain development, so getting help is wise. See more info at: http://www. Womensmentalhealth. 26 weeks pregnant should I take my girlfriend to the hospital if she is saying her back is hurting really bad? My girlfriend is having mild backaches should I take her to the hospital at 26 weeks pregnant?

26 weeks pregnant should I take my girlfriend to the hospital if she is saying her back is hurting really bad? My girlfriend is having mild backaches should I take her to the hospital at 26 weeks pregnant?

The: The first thing you should do in this situation like this is to call her doctor. There will be an on call doctor or nurse that will ask a series of questions and determine if she needs to be seen right away or if ir can wait until the office opens. However if the pain is intense and/or she is having frequent contractions she can always present to OB triage in the hospital. All the best.
