24f, my left foot is throbbing just sitting there and hurts on my right side when I move my foot/toes get a shooting pain up to my leg an can't walk.?

I would have it : Evaluated as there are many possibilities from a neuropathy as you mention shooting pain, a tendonitis as it travels. The fact it is throbbing generally connotates some degree of swelling. The fact, you can't walk implies pain is severe. See your foot doc or orthopod. ...Read more

DependsOnLottaThings: We all get funny feelings now & then Like just last night I felt like I was being choked by a Bigfoot.Turned out to be a bad dream. But in your case it depends on how long this has been happening and if the symptoms vary. Also your age & if you have any other medical problems. The side of my foot hurts really bad when i walk or when i push on it i'm only 22 what could it be?

More specific: If it is on the outside of your foot (the side of the pinky toe), it could be a stress fracture of the 5th metatarsal (common for people with high arches). It could also be tendinitis of the peroneus brevis tendon. See a podiatrist for a full examination with x ray, diagnosis, and treatment options. ...Read more

The front part of my foot hurts after i stepped in a hole. The pain won't go away, but i can walk on my foot. It just throbs and hurts and there is no swelling. What should I do?

How long hurting?: It sounds like a soft tissue injury, which will heal with time, and limited weight bearing. Ice alternating with heat may also help. If the pain persists more than two weeks, it should be evaluated by a foot doctor (podiatrist) or an orthopedist, preferably one specializing in foot/ankle. The possibility of a stress fracture with the injury you describe is a possibility. ...Read more
