PT: This is always an issue especially if you have never done or walked that way. PT has to give you exercises based on how and what you have done all your years. You may have a problem doing those squats at this age. ...Read more

Scratching reaction: The scratching may have stirred up release of histamine which indicates hyperreactvity of the skin similar to an allergic type response. If this is the case, you can scratch your skin in other parts of the body and raise a welt like reaction. More info: That really isn't enough information to give you a helpful answer. Where exactly is the pain? Under the ball of the feet? The heels? Arches? When does it hurt? Has there been an injury or change in activity? What shoes do you usually wear and do you keep them on at home? Does anything seem to help the pain?
