When I Should Resume Normal Ovulation After Failure Ivf
Depends: Your return to a "normal" cycle will depend on your underlying cause of infertility. For a woman who cycles monthly, it my only be a month or so, but for a woman with pcos it can be harder to predict. Talk to your inferility doctor about what to expect after treatments and how to take care of yourself between attempts at pregnancy. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
In vitro fertilization is an assisted reproductive technology. Ivf is a procedure used to treat fertility problems and assist with the conception of a child. During ivf mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. A few days later, the fertilized egg (embryo) or eggs are implanted into the uterus. One cycle of in vitro fertilization ...Read more
After failure ivf, I checked to see my ovulation but on da 12 after period I didn't do ovulation. Is it normal maybe due to stress. When ovulation occur?
Normal: After an ivf cycle it is common for the next month's ovulation to be delayed. All the medications that are given for the ivf cycle can take a few extra days to get out of your system before a new ovulation will start up. Ivf is also very stressful so that can play a part as well. I have had patients who conceived on their own the month after a failed ivf cycle. It can happen. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Failed IVF now pregnant 1 month later . Not sure how many weeks I am as ovulation was very late . Did my blood test value 186 . Is this normal ?
Depends on ur cycle: Your infertility doctor can advise you. You usually will ovulate 14 days before your next period. Subtract 14 from the length of your cycle and you can predict ovulation. If you have 30 day cycles (30-14= 16) you will ovulate approx day 16. Continue to use the ovulation sticks until you get a +. Or you could use the clearblue fertility monitor (link: http://bit.Ly/xwi55r ). ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
FSH levels high, progesterone 42 nmol/l at 7 dpo. Ovulating/menstruating regularly. Only 1 ovary,6 egg reserves. Chances of ivf working? I'm 22yrs old
I got treatment of hormones for ovulation. I ovulated 2 times through this but could not get conceive .should IGo for IVF or third treatment?
I'm 29 yrs old. Fsh-4.7 LH -5.9 and AMH 7.3 ...
Are these values ok?
Most ovulation drugs didn't work for me so can I consider ivf?
Problem ovulating: Cause for anovulation should be determined as this directs treatment. Some forms respond to meds like clomiphene (i.e. Clomid) or Letrozole, and others need daily injectable medications. Your AMH is great (FSH/LH fine, but need to know estradiol level too) so please speak with your REI about tx options (and risks) short of IVF first. Risks may make IVF safest tx in some cases. Good luck! ...Read more
When is good time to start injections prior to ivf? Just before ovulation or just after menstruation?
IVF?: If you are undergoing ivf treatment your doctor should have a fully outlined protocol with dates and times of every medication, when and how it should be given. In general ivf stimulation medications are started approximately 2 weeks prior to the eggs being retrieved. ...Read more
Endoscopy shows grade II oesophagitis treatment going on. but scheduled to go for IVF-ET in d next cycle. isit safe to go 4 ovulation enhancing drugs?
After 3 failed Clomid (clomiphene) cycles (ovulating but not concieving) can I ask my RE to jump to IVF and skip injectables? Is this a good idea?
I have pcos but tubes & uterus is okay .I am 29 years. Have 6 cycles of Clomid (clomiphene) & the last 3 cycles FSH was added but never ovulated. Will IVF be okay ?
PCOS: Clomid (clomiphene) and FSH can be used in PCOS to assist with ovulation, but using these sometimes requires injections of HCG to produce ovulation. Providers will follow follicle development and give HCG when the size of the growing follicle(s) is/are appropriate. IVF methods are much more expensive, but are more certain to achieve pregnancy. Suggest more attempts using present medications, ultrasound/HCG. ...Read more
I am 10 days late of my 1st normal period after IVF failure.I need to ask how many days should I wait for my af to come &is their a chance of pregnanc?
I did echo after 7 days of stopping Duphaston and after 2 months of IVF failure and I found that I have 2cysts smal. Why &can my period come normally?
Iam 34years and amh test is 0.5 n/g its normal and that has affect on ivf success when I do ? And what I can do to a rise of amh Value ? Thanks
It Matters: So obviously i only have a little information to go on. There is nothing you can do to raise the value. It is definitely abnormal. If the FSH is also high that is a worse sign. It means that you are likely to have more eggs of lower quality. But all you need is one good egg to have a baby. So it requires a little more consideration of tailoring the cycle to your specific needs ...Read more
Yes: Ivf treatment raises your estrogen levels and thickens the lining of your uterus. After you stop Progesterone supplements, your uterine lining will shed, and it may be heavier or more crampy than a normal period as your lining may get thicker than usual. You can take Ibuprofen or Naproxen for the cramps. Sorry your cycle didn't work. ...Read more
