Time to image: What have you tried for pain relief? Caffeine, NSAIDS, triptans? Any connection to period? Vision checked? If you can, ask doc to get brain MRI+/-contrast just to be on the safe side, to rule out structural issues. The neck stiffness makes me think tension-type, but that could be a secondary evolution of an earlier type. Start headache diary now & include cycle, foods, sleep - give doc head-start ...Read more

Have had multiple episodes of dizziness when going to lay down on back with head tilted to left side. Coincidence or problem?

Vertigo: Does it feel like the room is spinning around you? Especially since you describe your dizziness occurring in a particular position, you may have benign positional vertigo (BPV). Visit your physician for an exam. Your physician can perform the Epley maneuver to try to treat you. Try to avoid the position that causes your dizziness. Https://www. Nlm. Nih. First: First of all vodka and advil (ibuprofen) is a dangerous combination. This could adversely affect your liver and could cause liver damage and possibly failure which could be lethal. The maximum amount of advil (ibuprofen) is 3200mg/day and no more than 800mg every 6 hours. An over the counter advil (ibuprofen) tab is 200mg. As far as your headache goes, if it has been present for 7 days then this definitely warrants a medical evaluation. It sounds like a cluster headache. Your doctor will be able to tell you what their diagnosis is after a complete evaluation and give you appropriate treatment.
Best of luck. ...Read more

I get numbness in the front part of my left thigh when I lay down, have also had eye twitching and severe back pain at times. What is it?
