When I Breathe In I Feel A Flutter In My Lungs
Hi I have a pain in my chest when i breathe in, i feel it behind my lungs & the area feels heavy in general when i breathe normally please help?
Deoxygenated blood enters the lungs from the right side of the heart and travels to the lungs. When you inspire, oxygen flows into the lungs, transverses the capilliares and attaches to hemoglobin down a gradient. At the same time, co2 diffuses into the capilaries and is expelled with exhalation. Oxygen rich blood then flows to the left side of the heart and into the ...Read more
I have right ventricular dysplasia and sometimes when i breathe deeply i feel a pain in my lungs, is this normal?
I have a sweet taste in my mouth when i cough, a strange thud like feeling in my chest when i exhale, and a sharp pain in my upper right chest?
Costochondritis: The sweet taste is difficult to explain. The pain in the chest with breathing is probably costochondritis . This is due to an inflammation of the chest wall after a virus or a common cold. It is usually self limited and responds to Motrin 800 mg 3 times a day with food. If it does not improve over the next few days get a chest X-ray to rule out a walking pneumonia. Good luck and feel better. ...Read more
When i breathe or don't sometimes i can feel my heart beat in my back right in the center is this normal?
Not normal: Ask your doctor for an evaluation of your thoracic aorta. A CT scan with contrast may be necessary. (I just noticed that you listed a CT scan in your procedures - if it's already been done and it's normal, it does not need to be repeated. In that case, the symptom may be normal "for you.") ...Read more
Why do my lungs feel heavy when I try to sleep? It's like when I breathe I can hear the mucus in my chest.
Orthopnea: or positional dyspnea/breathlessness. When you are standing or sitting upright, gravity aids in lowering your diaphragm and expanding the lungs. The chest cavity is smaller when you are lying down; this may be made worse by obesity/upward pressure from abdomen. Chest heaviness may be a sign of asthma, pneumonia, bronchitis, heart disease. The "mucus" sound suggests fluid. Full eval needed ...Read more

Very congested in my chest,Feel pain in my back when I cough, sneeze, feel short of breath when I exert myself.Does it sound like bronchitis.?
I have a gurgling sensation in the left midline of my chest just under my left breast. When it happens I feel like I lose the ability to breath.
Interesting: complaint (borborygmus). Your stomach and esophagus are right in this location. If you have a hiatus hernia or have ever had an injury to your diaphragm, you could have fluid from the stomach in this area that is causing both symptoms. You should be seen and have an x-ray if you really are getting short of breath and not just worried. Bowel also can rarely be felt/heard this high. Good luck! ...Read more
