When I bend my neck, my lower back hurts and when I bend over my lower back hurts. What could be the cause or issue?

See your doc xrays: Back pain has several, causes. If you are an athletic young lady you could have caused a pars fracture in the lower back by acrobatic motion. An X-ray will tell, us if the problem is this or muscular (more common), then the correct treatment program can be given to remedy the problem

The lower left side of my back hurts whenever I bend my neck downwards. This has been happening for a few months. What is the cause?

The lower left side of my back hurts whenever I bend my neck downwards. This has been happening for a few months. What is the cause?

Applauding awareness: I commend any younger person picking up on what their body is doing and inquiring about it. That kind of awareness over a lifetime will serve you well. Bending your head stretches your neck muscles which are connected to muscles in the back and low back. Pain described is often from poor posture. Strengthen and balance the core muscles.

When I tilt my neck down, bend down, or turn in any weird way, the lower right side of my back hurts. Could it be a kidney issue?

When I tilt my neck down, bend down, or turn in any weird way, the lower right side of my back hurts. Could it be a kidney issue?

No: It is probably a ligament sprian off of the spine and probably around the mid back. The movement above stresses the lower back area and creats the symptoms warm baths and avoidence of twisting until it heals, .

Why is it that when I bend by neck down it hurts in my lower back? Hurts a lot to sneeze I do have a bulging disk L5 s1 hurts to get up from sitting

Why is it that when I bend by neck down it hurts in my lower back? Hurts a lot to sneeze I do have a bulging disk L5 s1 hurts to get up from sitting

Direct reason is: Because flexion of neck places tension on the spinal cord. But your symptoms could be from meningitis, not from disc. So I would have your doctor take a look at it.

Post LP Headache: Wanna sound more like a neurologist? Just say "Post LP headache" Sorry the "patcher" didn't do you the favor of explaining that in an average of 30% of cases patches failed and had to be redone. The main risk for failure is thought to be oversized tear for blood patch to fully cover. Wanna chat some more on this? Write me at: www. Healthtap. Com/drsaghafi Use Key Code: PDXFNR

Upper back pain, pains on touch and when I bend my neck forward, pain in shoulder too, chest CT clear, am a smoker, can this be lung cancer?

Upper back pain, pains on touch and when I bend my neck forward, pain in shoulder too, chest CT clear, am a smoker, can this be lung cancer?

Not likely: Not likely lung cancer. Sounds like muscle-skeletal pain, ie muscle sprain. If it persists for a few weeks then it warrants a doctor visit. Your ct scan is normal so this is less likely lung cancer. Lung cancer doesn't make you hurt upon touch. Smokers have a 20 fold risk of getting lung cancer. But that risk goes down significantly if they quit for about 5 years.

Whenever I slightly move my neck down, my back hurts, more specifically in between my shoulder blades. What are my options?

Whenever I slightly move my neck down, my back hurts, more specifically in between my shoulder blades. What are my options?

Many possibilities: It sounds like you may have a pinched nerve in your neck, perhaps at the c5 or c6 levels and you may also be developing a secondary frozen shoulder. Fall & Pain: Hopefully it's bruising that will resolve over time. Please see you doctor in case it is something more like a bone fracture or break. He/she will let you know and you will have peace of mind. Peace and good health

I'm having stiff neck pains on the left side and it moves to my back, hurts more through the night and when I'm sitting working on the computer?

I'm having stiff neck pains on the left side and it moves to my back, hurts more through the night and when I'm sitting working on the computer?

Lavator syndrome: If the pain is between the spine and your shoulder blade, I would consider levator syndrome (muscle irritation) likely due to posture especially computer work. Rest, ice, nsaid's, and salonpas hot patches (capsacian patches) are good. Change your posture, monitor at eye level. Consider mckenzie pt (robin mckenzie, treat your own neck, available online $8.32).

Popped neck and now back hurts below shoulder blade. How do I get rid of this pain?

Popped neck and now back hurts below shoulder blade. How do I get rid of this pain?

NSAIDs, PT: This is probably coming from your neck. You would probably benefit from a course of physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, and a cervical pillow. Additional testing may be needed if you don't improve with those treatments. See your doctor for evaluation.

I hit my head now my neck and top of my back hurts. I feel sick sometimes from the pressure I have on it. What is it??

I hit my head now my neck and top of my back hurts. I feel sick sometimes from the pressure I have on it. What is it??

Neck sprain: The neck and upper back pain are likely due to a sprain/strain that occurred when you hit your head. This can result in inflammation which can lead to the nausea you're experiencing. Try some ice and NSAIDs (i.e. Advil (ibuprofen) or Aleve), and also some gentle stretching. These type injuries typically will resolve within a few days to couple weeks.

My mom fell at work and the bone in her back hurts and pinches and goes to her neck. Is this serious? What happened? Why does she feel this? Help!

My mom fell at work and the bone in her back hurts and pinches and goes to her neck. Is this serious? What happened? Why does she feel this? Help!

Will try to help: It's not clear to me whether she had pinched a nerve or pulled muscle. With the following these things can occur. Certainly would be good for her to see her physician. It may not be that serious but it could be. With an acute injury she can ice the area for the first 36 hours and after that I would use heat on the area. She'll need a full evaluation to make sure if there was any other damage.

Sometimes when I turn my head it pops in the back & hurts so I can't move it & feels as hot liquid down the back of my head flowing down my neck. Why?

Sometimes when I turn my head it pops in the back & hurts so I can't move it & feels as hot liquid down the back of my head flowing down my neck. Why?

Worrisome symptoms: Sounds like you may have a "pinched nerve" or possibly problems with one of the discs in your neck and/or back. You mention an MRI and some surgery. Was this of your neck and if so, what did it show? It is important to see about this group of symptoms.. Contact your doctor to see about having a physical examination and any imaging studies to clarify the cause of your symptoms. Take care.
