Epididymitis: Blood in urine not common with epididymitis, however UTI + epididymitis is not uncommon. Urine culture should be checked in case organism isn't sensitive to antibiotic ur taking. Likely have urethro-vasal reflux with urination. Certainly require a urologic work-up to rule out urethral stricture or posterior urethral valves. This would require uroflowmetry ; voiding cyst-urethrogram.See 2 more doctor answers
What do you suggest if I have been on antibiotic for four days and still have blood in urine. Does it normally take that long to clear up?
Blood in urine: You may have blood in the urine for several days if you have a bladder infection. It is important to see if it is decreasing on antibiotics (A). If it is, the A is working, especially if the symptoms of burning and frequency are getting better. If they aren't, you need to speak to the physician who prescribed the antibiotics. Good luck.
Blood in urine: If this is the first episode and you are just starting the antibiotic- my recommendation is to continue antibiotic and follow up with you doctor. If you have had blood in the urine multiple times despites antibiotics- you should see a urologist for further evaluation.See 1 more doctor answer
Blood in urine: Blood in urine may be due to infection or other inflammatory conditions of kidney system. Infection needs to be confirmed with a bacterial culture. If it is positive, another tests is done additionally which indicates what antibiotic would treat that bacteria and wich antibiotis wouldn't be affective. Your doctor then can make the right call after checking the report or an educated guess without it

I am facing intermittant blood in urine appearing usually at the finish time. Been treated with antibiotics but it bounces back. Enhanced water intake?
BLOOD IN THE URINE: Blood in the urine without urgency, frequency, burning or getting up at night to urinate is not usually the sxs of an infection. It can be something else and should be further investigated by a urologist or nephrologist.
After taking antibiotics I still have the urge to pee also seeing what's appears to be blood in urine??
Recheck with doctor: Urine should not have blood in it. A person with "blood" in her urine needs a doctor's evaluation. If one's primary care doctor is not available, her Ob-Gyn doctor may be able to help (an E.R. doctor certainly can help if there is pain, fever, or worse symptoms). There may be a urine infection resistant to the antibiotics already taken, or another problem in the kidneys, ureters, bladder, etc...See 1 more doctor answer
Er treat me with antibiotics. Found blood in urine. I keep breaking out in sweats and pee at least 8 times a HR?
Beware fever, chills: More information is needed, but the situation you describe suggests you are being treated for a urinary tract infection (UTI). The sweating concerns me, as it suggests you may have fever. This may indicate a more serious infection, and may require more aggressive treatment if your symptoms do not improve rapidly. Please return to the ER for fever, chills, failure to improveSee 3 more doctor answers
Can protein and leucocytes in urine be sing of leukopenia? Sometimes I have blood in urine to. After antibiotics is the same result. Nothing change. St
No.: Leukopenia is a low white blood cell count in blood. It has nothing to do with changes in the urine. Leukocytes and protein in the urine can have many causes. Some are simple like infection or kidney stones, but there are many other causes. This should be evaluated by a kidney specialist if it persists.
UTI: It looks like you are suffering from lower uti. Phenazopyridine (pyridium (phenazopyridine) otc) may relieve pain. It may darken the color of your urine to an orange or red color which can stain soft contact lenses and even your underwear. This is normal and is not cause for alarm. Also, drinking lots of fluidse specially cranberry juice might be beneficial.See 1 more doctor answer
Normal to still find blood in urine (non hemolysis, dipsticks) 8 days after stopping antibiotics (for a possible cystitis, no infection diagnosed)?
No: Its never normal to have blood in your urine. However, sometimes it can be contaminant from period blood. The best thing to do is to repeat it down the road. If you have persistent microscopic blood in your urine, this needs to be worked up. It can be caused by kidney stones, bladder polyps or, more rarely, even bladder cancer. Best wishes!
