Soften the stools: What else is going on? Is there fever or abdominal pain? Diarrhea? Most likely etiology can be constipation. Pt should try to drink more water and try to change diet to soften the stools. If bleeding persists despite resolution of constipation need to consider other etiologies including hemorrhoids or other vascular anomalies or potentially a benign growth. Need GI consult at this point. ...Read more
