I have two uterus, does this mean i could have twins or triplets?

I have two uterus, does this mean i could have twins or triplets?

Unlikely: Most of the time you will only ovulate from 1 side at a time and therefore 2 uteri (called uterine didelphys) does not increase risk of twins. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

After delivery and postpartum period, consider a hysterosalpingogram (x-ray study of uterus and tubes) or MRI. Your reproductive specialist can schedule these. Can i still get pregnant if my uterus is weak?

Can i still get pregnant if my uterus is weak?

My best guess is that you're talking about cervical insufficiency, where the cervix starts to shorten and dilate painlessly in the mid trimester. In this case, obtaining pregnancy isn't the problem, but rather maintaining pregnancy once conception occurs is the issue. This is normally treated with a cerclage suture placed around the cervix between 13 and 15 weeks of pregnancy. ...Read more
