Can post nasal drip from chronic sinus infection 3 months. Cause chest congestion/throat wheezing, especially at night when laying down or waking up? Wheezing in throat is when exhaling and sounds crackling. Congestion in chest is productive.

In kids, wheezing can be asthma, but it can be a lot of other things too. ...Read more

From last 6 months I am experiencing sudden cough with wheezing sound everyday which lasts for 20 minutes and go away. What can it be?
Good evening, sanderaika
sudden cough with a wheezing is likely due to a sinus drip triggering a reactivity of the airway. When anything, including the discharge from the sinuses enters the airway, the tubes try to shrink in order to keep the secretions from entering, which cause wheezing, and a sudden cough expels the drip that already found its way in. Taking care of the sinus drip will be good. ...Read more

I just notice than when I twist my body a sound like "wheezing" or "hissing" comes deep from my body, specially with the moth open. I guess is from the lungs. Is that normal??
Exam needed: An examination is needed to determine where the sound is coming from. Sounds come from turbulent movement of fluid or air. Movement of air in the gut or expelling of air trapped in the lungs from asthma or COPD (smoking is the common cause of COPD) can cause all sorts of sounds. Maybe. Maybe not.: A 15 month toddler who breathes with noise after running around may be wheezing. The easiest way to tell is to make an appointment with a pediatrician who is not too busy.
