Tendonitis/fascitis?: This sounds like inflamation of the insertion of the plantar fascia in the heel area. If it is worse in the morning, that is a sign. Plantar fasciitis?: Inflammation of the arch can be quite severe and impairs ambulation. Fracture of bone/stress fracture can cause severe pain as well, but not likely without trauma/excessive use-i.E jogging/running/jumping etc. It is difficult to tell for sure what u have without examining your foot, but plantar fasciitis is likely.
