Whats This Brown Line On My Penis
Iron pigment: Most teenaged guys have one of these. It's just beyond where you usually grip it when you're enjoying yourself alone. The pigment is hemosiderin and is harmless -- it's a milestone. One thing to consider is varying your technique, especially with looser, lighter touch to prepare you for different possible partners. Best wishes. ...Read more

What does it mean if the penis is changing color. The normal color is brown but near the shaft it's getting all white. ?
Approximately a week ago i noticed something on my penis that wasn't there before, it was flat and a dark mahogany brown, what is it?
Here are some ...: What you saw could have been there lifelong and you just recently noticed it incidentally. Without a direct look at it, it's hard to give a specific answer. But, clinically, it may be just a mole. For now, observe if it changes its size, texture, elevation, or color over time; collect and bring those to Doc for review, analysis, physicals, and possible tests if being in doubt. I am not sure why but my penis is two distinctly different colors... The bottom of my shaft is dark brown while the top half is tan... is this normal?
Sounds ok: One can ask one's primary care doctor to look, if one is worried. Having a darker bottom and lighter top is normal if it looks symmetrical and has been that way since puberty started (but with more noticeable coloring over the past few years). Doctors check the penis at annual check-ups, but rarely say anything if such coloring is there, as it is considered normal. So, point it out to the doctor. ...Read more

I have a brown spot on my penis, is this normal, it is by all my life. And is little. I'am curious about it?
See answer: Moles (aka nevi) can occur anywhere on the body including the shaft or head of penis: either congenital or acquired during life. Congenital melanocytic nevus would be most common type of mole found on the penis. Other types of benign pigmented moles or lentigo can occur as well. No treatment needed unless desired for cosmetic reasons. Malignant melanoma of penis extremely rare and occur in elderly. ...Read more

Can't really tell: A doctor can check to see if there is a medical issue, if a woman has mild menstrual-related symptoms. Many women have some variation of mucus discharge, of periods, or a missed period on occasion. Some women feel normal after a few days, but others do have bothersome symptoms and follow-up with a doctor. A urine pregnancy test is accurate if done correctly, but pregnancy sounds unlikely here. ...Read more
I have brown lesions on my penis shaft and i'm noticing they're spreading. They don't hurt or itch. They have been there for almost 2 years. Worry?
Probably warts: Some warts do disppear on their own, but unfortunately genital warts often don't. Otc such as compound-w/salicylic acid, or home remedies such as duct-tape, garlic juices may help. Consult doc for better topical meds, or get removal done in office with liquid nitrogen or electrodessication. Some docs use carbon-lasers for severe cases. These do spread to others and so be safe. Good luck. ...Read more

I've recently got discolored patch on the base of my penis.I'm dark but this path is somewhat light brownish. It doesn't hurt. But skin there is smooth?
See answer: Of course, without a picture it is difficult to accurately diagnose but your description is most consistent with a type of mole called benign melanocytic nevus which as the name implies is benign and requires no treatment. If lesion changes in size or appearance, or if you desire an accurate diagnosis, i would recommend you see a dermatologist. You could also compare with online pics of nevi. ...Read more

I have noticed small light brown spots on the base of my penis these spots have appeared in the last 60 days
I wish that i could tell you definitively what's going on, but no one can without examining you and getting a complete medical history including your sexual history. If you're asking this kind of a question on an online forum like this, i suspect that you don't have a primary care doctor, or if you do, you don't feel comfortable asking him/her about this issue.
If you don't have access to healthcare because of insurance or financial issues, go to a public health clinic. Almost every public health department has a sexually transmitted disease clinic. The one closest to you is the rockland county std clinic (845) 364-3771. What's going on with your penis may welll not be a sexually transmitted disease, but if it is, the folks there will be more than able to figure it out. They've seen it all, and if they're anything like most std clinics, they're not going to be judgemental.
If you do have access to healthcare and don't feel comfortable talking to your physician about something like this, get a new one!
in my experience, most of these issues are nothing - normal skin tone variation, freckles, etc. But if it is something like genital warts (which are incredibly common and nothing to be ashamed about) you want to get it taken care of. If, it's something more serious like a melanoma (which is incredibly rare - you've got a better chance of winning the lottery then getting struck by lightening) it would be a terrible shame to not get that diagnosed early because of embarrassment.
So, get it looked at! and if you don't feel comfortable being completely honest with your doctor, find another one. It's not a doctor's role to judge or try to change your behavior. My role is to listen to you, evaluate your health problems and risks, and give you the information you need to make decisions. ...Read more

Here are some ...: Such color change in glans penis may occur and evolve along lifetime most commonly resulting from estrogen effect from sexual intercourse. I have a dark brown mark from himosederin on the side of my penis from gripping too hard during masturbation and it's been there for over a year. Help?
Hemosiderin Staining: Hemosiderin staining is the deposition of this pigment in the skin after significant bruising. It doesn't always happen with bruising, but when it does it can last a long time like 1-2 years. In my experience, this fades with time. There are no creams to address this issue as far as i know. A condom is always a good idea and can cover it up! ...Read more

Iron pigment: Most guys have a mark like this during their teenaged years. It's just past where you grip yourself, right? It's hemosiderin from red blood cells released from microtrauma. It's not a problem, but it's gone in a month or so if you vary your technique when you're enjoying yourself, and use less pressure / grip strength. This will prepare you better for different possible partners. ...Read more
