My 7 day old baby has a resting heart rate of 155bpm. Is this normal? It gets faster again when crying etc

No: A baby's heart rate is normally high--around 120 to 160 beats per minute--and it often goes as high as 220 beats per minute with crying. Anything over 220 is abnormally high, especially if it doesn't come down to normal when the crying stops.
