Stop the offending: cause if known. Also reasonable to take short acting antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or longer acting ones like Claritin or Zyrtec. If the rash is severe enough and/or the itching is not alleviated than over the counter steroid creams may be beneficial.
