Maybe: Persistent muscle twitching can be due to overuse of the muscle, or irritation of the nerve going to that muscle. If there was no unusual activity to provoke it , there may be irritation of the nerves that go to the leg which come from the low back. You may need imaging of the spine. ...Read more
