What Would Happen If Any Kind Of Bug Went In Your Mouth
My daughter is 26 months old and has a bug bite of some kind on her thigh and it has a large kinda knot underneath it but it hasn't come to a head?
This sounds like it: Might be an infection, as opposed to a bug bite. Of course if you're somewhere where there are insects out at this time of year, it's possible. I would recommend that you have her examined by her doctor to be sure. Meanwhile, have her sit in a warm tub or apply warm compresses to the area. If it's itchy, she can have Benadryl (diphenhydramine) orally. Don't try to squeeze it to open it up; you may make it worse. ...Read more

Hey texas city,
the first question to answer is why it came out.
Was it a one in a million taffy pulling on it, or is there a big old cavity under that crown, or did you get hit?
Most crowns that come out are due to a "one in a million" cement failure and just need to be recemented by your dentist. Simple, easy and may need a bit of anesthetic. However, if it comes off repeatedly, get a new crown that “grabs more of the toothâ€.
To build a house you need a solid foundation.
The tooth under that crown needs to be evaluated. If there is a cavity; treat it and get a new crown. If the first one was leaking, don’t put it back on.
If the tooth is fractured you may need more.
Hope this is helpful,

My baby is 7 months and I still have to force feed her. She doesn't open her mouth to feed on any kind. I try to trick her and force the food? Whyyyy
No force-feeding: Babies do not need to be force-fed. If a parent thinks she has to force-feed her baby, she can bring the baby to the doctor and feed the baby while the doctor is watching (explain that this is the plan, when booking the appointment). In most cases, the baby is fine and will drink enough breastmilk or formula to grow normally (which may be a smaller amount of intake than the parent wishes). ...Read more
Can you tell me how can I fix my abnormally large mouth. It isn't the cute kind of big mouth it is the ugly kind and I want to fix it but how?

Surgical: Wiring jaws shut used to be done by the maxillo-facial surgeon. I have not seen it used except in short term traumatic fracture reduction (i.E ivy bars). Now I see almost all my surgical patients in surgical fixation with elastic traction. I use existing posterior hooks and use kobayahsi ties for anteriors for this purpose. Most post surgical patients have partial anesthesia (parathesia) anyway. ...Read more

Or fungal infection, dirty tongue, gum disease, systemic disease (e.g. Diabetics), certain drugs (e, g, antibiotics) and dental caries are the common causes for having a foul taste in your mouth. All these conditions are treatable.

When I drink water, my mouth gets dry. Doesn't happen with any other type of drink, only bottled water. Why does this happen?
Hard to say:
Getting a dry mouth from only drinking bottled water is a strange complaint. My first question would be does this happen with tap water also? If not, perhaps it's the bottled water. Despite claims of purity by many bottled water companies studies show significant levels of chemicals in many national brands of bottled water.
If it happens with tap water also then I have no clue. ...Read more

Observe: This is a common occurence. Watch and if you begin to have a chronic cough, run fever, cough up discolored sputum or have pain or shortness of breath, you would need to be seen. If this is a small insect, the chances are it will disintegrate and be propelled out of the respiratory tree and coughed out or swallowed and with all bronchial secretions. ...Read more

Sensory trick: Some dystonia patients have a "sensory trick", a spot that if manipulated can aid the dystonia. You can make the initial visit your family doc, which I think is easiest. Your doc can assess whether or not it is something that needs further evaluation such as biopsy. He/she can do that in office or refer u out to the appropriate doc. If it is a small, circular, dark spot on either side of mouth, it is likely a small blood blister which will disappear in few days...
