What Would Be The Cause Of Pvcs Only With Heart Rates Over 100
I am getting a feeling of suction in the chest. Followed by a pause of the heart and then normal rhythm. Echo Normal. Other test's Normal to. PVC?
Benign vs. malignant: Features of benign pvc's usually are: monomorphic (same shape), late cycle ( they come after t wave on ecg), non-consecutive (they come as single PVC followed by normal beat) and absent of structural heart disease. When my heart rates gets above 100 my pvcs start getting bad. Somerimes bigeminal. Dr doesn't seem worried. But what would cause pvcs at fast hr?
Calcium loading: Cool question. The issue at play here is (in all likelihood) something called calcium loading. When the cells fill with more calcium ions than they can handle, it gets swapped out for sodium ions via a channel called ncx. The sodium causes the cell to trigger in a process called a delayed afterdepolarization (dad). With the stress of a fast heartbeat, perhaps problems with blood flow (ischemia) or anatomy (muscle size or conduction) may play a role. Best to get good history, exam and at least ekg to check. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

You should discuss this with your cardiologist immediately or go to the er. ...Read more

PVCs: Pvcs may cause discomfort to some people. The pvcs and symptoms are only a cause for concern if there is signficant cardiac disease as an underlying cause or coexistant problem. Pvcs with otherwise normal cardiac status are generally not a risk. ...Read more
