Can make worse: Squeezing or scratching/rubbing the skin can cause the eczema to worsen and also cause post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation or discolorations and scarring. Instead of squeezing, apply topical steroids or creams intended to distract the skin from itching (contain lidocaine, camphor, menthol) and take antihistamines. ...Read more

No: In fact atopic eczema and psoriasis are nearly 180 degree opposite to each other in term of the immune reactions. The itchy rash on your chin is likely from a contact allergy with hair preparations being the most likely suspects. ...Read more

Possibly SSC or AK?: May not be cancer. Traditionally squamous cell cancer (SSC) was infrequent under age 40. But the incidence is increasing in this age range. The risk increases with use of Tanning booths and living in the Sun Belt. You lesion may be actinic keratosis (AK) (a precursor to SSC), SSC or a non-cancerous skin condition. I'm not sure what this maybe 3 weeks ago I noticed bruises well it looked like bruises or small red patches under my underarm, im not sure if it was because I shaved, I do have sensitive skin but I never had eczema there before. I do have genital herpes bu
My best advice is for you to schedule a visit with your primary care provider or a dermatologist if that is an option for you. Typically herpes does not look like bruises, rather fluid filled blisters that are very painful when they initially appear. Also, eczema does not typically look like what you described in your post. You may be dealing with a dermatitis and/or allergy from shaving.
Regardless, please see a medical professional.
Best of luck. ...Read more

These products are usually applied when the skin is damp, such as after bathing, to help the skin retain moisture. Cold compresses may also be used to relieve itching. Over-the-counter products, such as hydrocortisone 1% cream, or prescription creams and ointments containing corticosteroids, are often prescribed to lessen inflammation. ...Read more
