Immune system active: Whether you know it or not, our immune systems are working everyday for us, often 'behind the scenes'. What you describe here sounds relatively harmless. We're exposed to moulds/bacteria/viruses--every day. If this was a problem, there would be noticeable symptoms which you don't have. The best thing to do is throw out that container and and watch for any mould next time. ...Read more

Just discovered I have been drinking out of mouldy cup for 1 week, my nasal septum feels weird...it feels "full". Also had flu symptoms for past week. How do I know if I have sinusitis from mold? Could it resorb the maxilla?

Mold not responsible: Are you quite sure that you were drinking from a moldy cup for the whole week? Usually the mold clears out when you wash or rinse your cup. Anyhow, the molds are not known to cause sinusitis or to resorb maxilla. Your symptoms are more likely from a virus infection and should be gone in few days. If not then go see your doctor. ...Read more

Think I have been drinking out ofa cup with mold in it fora week. Dishwasher broke so have been washing my cup by hand (no sponge just washing up liquid + water). Water tastes strange outofit and have been feeling ill. Could the mold getinto my bones?

Think I have been drinking out ofa cup with mold in it fora week. Dishwasher broke so have been washing my cup by hand (no sponge just washing up liquid + water). Water tastes strange outofit and have been feeling ill. Could the mold getinto my bones?

Not likely: Most molds(fungi) found in households don't cause infectious disease in immunocompetent individuals. However some molds can produce mycotoxins which can cause illness when moldy food is eaten. Rinsing your cup would wash away any food or toxin. It's possible the thought of drinking out of a moldy cup has been making you feel ill. See you Dr if symptoms persist. ...Read more

I get violently ill the next day after drinking a couple of drinks the night before. This is new but has happened 6/15 times I've drank recently. ?

Don't drink!: your body is telling you what you already know. You're unable to either process the alcohol, or there is something you're allergic to in the drink itself. Best to not have to deal with a intense hangover the next day. There are other nonalcoholic drinks you can enjoy with your friends. ...Read more

Does drinking too much water leas to anything serious? I'm a very heavy water drinker. I drank like 3gallons at least a day.

Usually not.: I've only heard of one death due to drinking an excess of water. It had to do with a water drinking contest. However, drinking too much water can also be a signal that something else is wrong such as low anti-diuretic hormone or decreased sodium resorption by the kidney. Since there is a drought in California and it is summer, I suspect you are outside and active. ...Read more

Child may have drank bleach found her with the bottle. She is 1 year 6months. She seems to be perfectly normal she is eating and drinking her milk?

Nasty stuff: Bleach, ammonia, and other nasty stuff are not described as "may have drank" because it will be obvious. The person will smell strongly of the stuff, and likely have chemical reactions on the lips or face... and not be looking "perfectly normal." If worried, always call the local Poison Control number. Some poisonous things, like antifreeze, are not nasty enough to stop people from swallowing it. ...Read more

What about if I wasn't drinking when I took the Keller, and aloud time for the antibiotic to absorb before I drank. Would it still decrease the effect?

What's Keller?: Sorry, we have no way of seeing your previous questions and being able to read it with this one. If you are asking if you can drink on antibiotics. No, especially with certain ones. But it is not a good idea with any. You are sick, that is why you are on them. Don't drink alcohol when you are sick, save it to celebrate when you are better. What happens if I dont eat after a night of drinking?

Depends: You are not specific about these things. If the drinking was not extremely too much and if the delay till eating is not too long, probably nothing but a hangover and feeling a bit weak, tired and bad. If these were excessive, it's clearly not good for you and if this is not a very rare situation, you need to change things. Be honest and seek help if you are alcoholic or anorexic. ...Read more
