Can I take jarrows formula fem dophilus with vitafusion womens gummy vitamins? I'm trying to use my own remedies to heal my bv.
Vitamins and UTI: There is no vitamin that can cure uti's and yeast infections. Vitamin c acidifies the urine and makes it harder for bacteria to grow and cause uti's and it is not a cure. Recurrent BV: Recurrent bacterial vaginosis is very common. BV is hard to treat and permanently clear up. Yogurt or probiotics are not likely to help. Two options often are effective: taking metronidazole (Flagyl®) once a week; or vaginal boric acid capsules. Discuss the best choice with your doctor. But treating partners doesn't help. Preventive treatment with vaginal metronidazole (MetroGel®) or boric acid vaginal capsules sometimes helps.
