A lot faster with Rx: Unless there are other inciting risks to inflammation in your stomach (like h.Pylori, tobacco, too liberal alcohol, Aspirin or other nsaid's, etc.) your gastropathy will likely heal within a few weeks. Diet for GI problems: The recommended diet would be different for each of those G.I. problems. The best diet for you would depend on which of these are actually causing you the most symptoms. I would see a gastroenterologist to help sort out your predominant problem and base your diet on that. Until then, a high fiber diet low in citrus fruits and tomatoes would be a good place to start. Maybe intolerance: Seemingly your belly is just not agreeing with cauliflower. Most people have some degree of disagreement with certain foods. What you described is not gastritis. If you have excessive gas/belching with this, gas-x may help. Also, eat a bit less of this to see if it helps. Fortunately, there are plenty of other veggies around--i like them too.
