Can't improve: If you have amblyopia, it means that your nerve pathways never properly formed between your eyes and your brain. Therefore, even though you can decrease your amount of nearsightedness, you will never obtain 20/20 vision. As a side note, the use of hard lenses to reduce your nearsightedness (called ortho-k) can damage your cornea. Most eye doctors do not recommend this therapy. ...Read more

? any choice ?: When you find you may have a health related issue that may be chronic, do you really have a choice but to accept and live with it. Some people are born without an eye or eyes, feet, hands. etc. You are confused and trying to understand why/and how to get past it.
