See pharmacist: Activated charcoal capsules work as an adsorbent, not an absorbent. Speak with the pharmacist about it's use and dosage. It will bind with anything that you just swallowed, and prevent its absorption. It's also non-toxic. However pepto-bismol only coats the stomach surface, but will not bind to the black mold, nor prevent absorption as well. The activated charcoal will, and you'll poop it out black. Can still take it to hours later, and it will be effective. ...Read more

Had sinus surgery for nose; swells get black n blue. Allergies to molds bad. Can my bottom jaw hurt from sinus when barometric pressure/wind high.?

Not: In severe and chronic maxillary sinusitis, the upper teeth but not the lower may be involved. If you have allergies, you will need to get this treated as well because the nasal swelling will likely close up the sinus openings leading to sinusitis again despite the surgery. If you have water damage at your home, you need to get it fixed or move out. Recommend an allergy consult. ...Read more
