Possible sinusitis: Try short term (no more than 2 days in a row) use of afrin nasal spray to see if you get immediate relief of sinus pain (assuming sinus pain). May add a decongestant like Mucinex (guaifenesin) d. Don't use either if you have hypertension. Continue use of Ibuprofen as well as needed for pain. I've had laryngitis for four days. Does gargling with saltwater help? Does Flovent 110 make it worse? It's making my allergies act up in the evening.
Need examination: Saline might be soothing, so continue. Not sure it shortens the illness. Tough call on the Flovent; it reliably causes hoarseness at high doses directly and indirectly (favoring yeast/oral Candidiasis), yet can help associated asthmatic bronchitis.
