What Should Your Thyroid Level Be When You Are Pregnant
My wife's thyroid level is 17 and she wants to be pragnent. Is it safe for her to be pragnent. Would there be any effect on the foetus?
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. I had lab work done after negative test.everything is normal(thyroid) last regular mc was in april.may and june i just had spotting.could i be pregna?
Possibly.: If you haven't done a urine pregnancy test, that's the first step. If it's negative, but you still suspect pregnancy, your doctor can order a "serum beta HCG" which may pick up the pregnancy hormone in the unlikely event that the urine test was wrong. If the serum test is negative, make an appointment with your Gyno to find out why you aren't cycling. I wish you the best. ...Read more
I was diagnosed with a low thyroid problem, i was pregnat at the time and was immediately put on medication. I had medicaid insurance then and was prescribed the meds by my doctor. I don't have insurance now and haven't been on my medication since 11/10/2
I got married 16 months ago but not preganent yet, had tests like CBC, thyroid, blood glucose, tb & my husband done semen test...reports are normal..
Needs investigating: You have gone >12 months without conceiving. Verify that you are not using any spermicides in lubes, that you are having regular menses every 25-30 days, that you are having sex during the fertile period about two weeks before your menses. If all checks out, see your Ob/Gyn for more in depth workup. ...Read more
