It is also possible it may be a small hernia or collection of fluid that may or may not be infected. If it is painful, red, increasing in size or there is any discharge be seen by your doctor. What symptoms after a tubal ligation would you suggest it be reversed?! I have had horrible bleeding that last 7-10 days then start 4-7 days later
Excessive bleeding: Excessive bleeding post tubal ligation is a good reason to see a GYN MD and make sure that there isn't another GYN problem causing this issue first and foremost. How is it possible to have a child after a tubal ligation and a Novasure procedure? I am remarried and we would love to have a baby together.
IVF: On rare occassions, tubals can be reversed. Much higher success with IVF (in vitro fertilization), where eggs are retrieved from mom and then fertilized in the lab with dad's sperm and then implanted into the uterus. This bypasses the tubes so it doesn't matter if you've had a tubal. You need to sit down and have a nice consultation with a fertility specialist/clinic in your area. ...Read more

Can your cycle vary after a tubal ligation my period sometimes start by the third of the month and some times a week or two later
That: That would be unusual as tubal ligation usually does not affect the cycle. If your period has become irregular, please see your doctor for an evaluation if it is any heavier, very irregular, or you have spotting. Please be sure your pap smear is up to date. In extremely rare circumstances, women with a tubal ligation can become pregnant, so if your period is late or if you had any pain you would have to be seen immediately. ...Read more
