What procedures should I follow after my kidney transplant?

What procedures should I follow after my kidney transplant?

Ask your txp center: Beginning even before the txp, patients are given advice about diet, activity, follow-up care, medications etc. But it is hard to remember these complicated guidelines. The immune system fights foreign invaders (like infections) so it will reject transplants from other people (allotransplants) because they look like infections. So transplants usually require drugs to ...Read more

What kind of follow-up care will i need after butt augmentation surgery? Will i need massage and ultrasound after my butt augmentation. Is this common follow-up care? What other things will be suggested that I do after my surgery?

I : I perform butt augmentation with fat transfer techniques, ie brazilian butt lift. I don't usually recommend massage unless you notice an area of firmness. Massage may help in the areas that fat was harvested from to help reduce the swelling, but this is not necessary. If possible it is better if you can sleep on your stomach and avoid sleeping on your back. Avoid slouching and sliding down in your chair when sitting. Otherwise the recovery is not too bad. ...Read more

That is correct...: You may get by without stent for treating a 1-cm kidney stone with eswl, but always prepare and commit yourself for possible intervention to stent ureter or remove fragments piling up in distal ureter with possible pending infection above the stone-relate blockage. So, doc is fair and right for you. ...Read more

Can i still pee after hymenectomy?or do i need a catheter?some can't pee after the surgery because of swelling.my gyne sched me for surgery this yr.

Hymenectomy: Typically a catheter is not needed. The surgery itself often only requires a small incision at several areas of the hymen. Kidney Transplant (Definition)

Kidneys anatomically require connection to an artery for blood supply, a vein for blood drainage and the bladder for urine outflow.
