Issues with "Runs": Having symptoms since 2012 is a long time to have had this issue. I wonder if you have an inflammatory disease of the intestines like ulcerative colitis or crohns. Yes: If you have Insulin resistance or even diabetes metformin is fine to take. Some people have lost weight on metformin, perhaps due to GI side effects. I haven't heard that it can interfere with diet pills but those can be dangerous on their own. ...Read more
